About Iliyana Parvanova

Iliyana Parvanova is the creator, lyricist and creative mind behind DevilsAngels. She is a Bulgarian writer and translator based in Germany, with more than fifteen years of experience creating and translating content across online platforms, music communities and social media.

Her journey began long before DevilsAngels existed. Over the years, she became known on Bulgarian music, lyrics and translation platforms such as Vbox7 and YouTube, where she published work under different pseudonyms, including ilyanapetkowa, ligata94 and iliqnka_12. What started as a personal passion for words gradually developed into a much larger creative world built around music, storytelling and visual expression.

Iliyana writes primarily in Bulgarian and English, creating original song lyrics inspired by real emotions, personal experiences and the thoughts people often struggle to express aloud. Her writing explores love, grief, betrayal, faith, anger, loneliness, identity, inner conflict and the fragile line between strength and vulnerability. She does not believe that every emotion must be softened or made beautiful. Sometimes the most honest words are uncomfortable, dark or painfully direct.

Her lyrics are not created simply to accompany music. Each song begins with its own story, emotional atmosphere and identity. Some songs speak quietly, while others scream. Some search for hope, while others allow pain to exist without pretending that it has already healed. For Iliyana, writing is a way to transform difficult emotions into something that can be heard, understood and shared.

She is also an experienced translator between Bulgarian and English. Her work with language has shaped the way she writes lyrics, allowing her to understand not only the meaning of words, but also their rhythm, emotional weight and cultural character. She is currently continuing to develop her German and also works with German-language texts and translations.

Alongside DevilsAngels, Iliyana is the creative force behind projects such as Timea Rea and DevilsAngelsBG. Each project has its own voice and musical identity, but all of them are connected by the same foundation: original writing, emotional honesty and the freedom to create without being restricted by one genre, language or image.

Within DevilsAngels, Iliyana creates the lyrics, concepts, characters and stories that shape the project. The music and visuals may be supported by modern creative technology, including artificial intelligence, but the ideas, words and emotions begin with a real person and real human experience. AI is used as a creative instrument, not as a replacement for imagination, authorship or feeling.

DevilsAngels represents the many voices that can exist within one soul. Kevin and David embody two contrasting emotional forces — aggression and sensitivity, rebellion and reflection, the voice that fights and the voice that feels. Through them, Iliyana explores the contradictions that live within every person.

Her work does not fit neatly into one category. She is a writer, lyricist, translator, storyteller and independent creator building several interconnected musical worlds from the ground up. Every lyric, visual concept and project begins with the same intention: to create something honest enough to make another person feel less alone.
